Why HEF tracks these numbers
Each of these indicators sits at the center of a system that is otherwise measured in fragments — national grid disclosures, individual project announcements, budget line items — with no single place tracking the trend. Publishing them together, with methodology and revision history attached, is a small part of HEF's wider mandate: making the Himalayan system legible through shared data, not just narrative.
